1. Case Study for Internet based TV company showing the Video streaming of various programs and related content: -
We developed the Beta version of this website and are now in the production support and enhancements phase. We extensively use ASP.NET, C# as server side scripting language and My SQL as the Database. We utilize HTML, CSS, JavaScript, DHTML for the Webpage’s front end design and Web Services, AJAX for the client side scripting.
We also built features like blogs, comments by user, email to friends, ratings etc. The site also has reporting features, such as user activity reports, user login/logout report, user preference report, user location and experience reports, etc.
2. Case Study for largest integrated juice manufacturer of orange, lemon and Clementine:
As part of production support, VMR has been involved in modifications and bug fixes to the existing forms and reports in 11i in Order Management, Purchasing, Receivables, and General Ledger and Projects modules. We did the Gap Analysis for enhancements, analyzed changes to the system and developments that are needed to meet the new business requirements.
We demonstrated our strong capabilities in Discoverer, Oracle Reports 6i, Oracle Forms 6i, APEX and XML Publisher. We have been shouldering the System Administrator responsibilities also.
3. Case Study for Engineering Construction Corporation:
This Engineering construction corporation has grown into a diverse engineering, construction, environmental, and industrial services organization with 55,000 employees in strategic locations worldwide. A number of large acquisitions in recent years catapulted its revenues in excess of $10 billion.
With hundreds of offices and project sites around the world, this Engineering giant saw a need to streamline and integrate its inter-company business and provide its employees with holistic project views. The company decided to consolidate its information systems into one, standardizing on Oracle Applications World. The Oracle E-Business Suite to enable its employees to build, publish, and report on all critical information in the Oracle related database.
Phase 1 of the project comprised setting up the core Oracle HR module and Benefits solution for US, developing customizations, reports, interfaces to E-Business Systems and re-engineering associated business processes. Phase 1 is now in production use and is used to deliver the highly complex HR and Benefits.
Phase 2 of the project commenced in mid 2008 with the objective of further developing and exploiting the core HR base. Phase 2 is planned to go live in September 2008.

4. Sports Goods Manufacturing Co.:
Project: Automation and Integration of Credit Card Processing With AR
VMR Tech successfully completed the implementation of the payment module and added customized functionalities that the client needed for their specific business processes. The client processes the orders on the external system for credit card invoices. The client was required to authorize and capture the Credit card invoice amount manually for each transaction. The objective of the project was to create an automated process that would run at a preset time of the day to authorize the order amount, generate credit card invoices for these orders, create automatic receipts and capture the payment. This was achieved by doing the business process analysis, adding necessary set ups and developing customized programs.VMR TECH has been providing post Go-Live support to the client on the ongoing basis.
5. Non-Profit Organization for film industry workers:
Project: Development Of Customer Specific Application and Integration with AR Client needed independent utility wherein it could handle all business activities, related to membership such as registration, accepting payments, applying billing rules, maintaining member status etc. The task was achieved by designing and developing new application in AR with all necessary functionality incorporated in it by means of various forms, reports and interfaces which maintained data at intermediate level and concurrent processes which posted data in AR.
6. Electronics Goods Manufacturer:
Project: Data Migration (This client runs order management on an external system.)
The objective of this project was to import all invoices and customer data in AR with custom development for Canada specific invoices (for TAX purpose) everyday without any user assistance and provide status reports to user after the process is run. This was fulfilled by writing various scripts using tools like SQL*Plus, PL/SQL, SQL*Loader etc. To write various concurrent programs, we use standard processes like AUTO INVOICE and executing them through shell scripts.
7. Auto Parts Manufacturer:
Project: Development of Product Advice. Client wanted to interact with customers with all product data/customer data available in hand and at the same time make changes in product/customer specification as per need and maintain the changed version with proper tag.
VMR Tech developed a group of utilities. It is gateway through which user can now inform customers various events related to product such as announcement of new product, price change, design change etc. At the same time it also provides customer/product specific data manipulation and analysis to the clients. For data analysis new representation is designed and stored in custom tables with reference to standard customer and product (Inventory) information. For manipulation the front end was supported with different forms, reports, concurrent programs etc.
